Puntan Dos Amantes is Guam’s most famous visitor attraction. It is frequented by more people than any other attraction on Guam. Its profile at the northern end of Tumon Bay rises 368 feet from the reef below, offering views of both the eastern and western sides of the island. Its position provides those that venture to the site a unique view of the mountainous volcanic geography of the south and the level limestone plateau of northern Guam.
The Lookout Point is a unique cantilevered platform perched over the edge of the point. It offers a bird’s-eye view of the pristine Philippine Sea and the reef that edges Tumon Bay. Home to dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays, the waters below the Lookout Point are crystal clean and brilliantly hued with the breathtaking ocean blues that ring Guam.
Made of concrete, strong enough to withstand super typhoons and earthquakes, the point was constructed to withstand the ages. Also at the point, the legend of Puntan Dos Amantes is forever etched on four specially crafted stone walls, where visitors can read the entire legend in different languages and appreciate the cultural significance of the Lookout Point on Guam.
